The Palestinian ministry of foreign affairs said it was a \u201ccrime\u201d that exposes the Israeli army\u2019s \u201cbrutality\u201d. Under international law, armed forces must treat the dead with dignity.<\/p>\n Israel\u2019s foreign ministry responded by saying the case had been \u201cinvestigated and addressed\u201d, without providing details or indicating whether any soldiers faced punishment.
