Eight people, including three crew members, were killed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2412\" data-end=\"2597\">Search and rescue teams reached the site after Turkiye\u2019s Ministry of Interior launched emergency operations while multiple authorities joined the investigation into the cause of the crash.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"funeral-prayers-delayed\" data-start=\"2412\" data-end=\"2597\">Funeral prayers delayed<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2599\" data-end=\"2756\">Reporting from Misrata, Libya, Al Jazeera\u2019s Malik Traina said preparations were under way for the return of Al-Haddad\u2019s body although the timeline remains uncertain.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2843\" data-end=\"3117\">\u201cEarlier today, we spoke to the minister of communications, and we were told the funeral prayer will be held tomorrow. That\u2019s starting to change, now they\u2019ve been receiving phone calls from government officials saying that it could likely be postponed till Saturday,\u201d Traina said on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3119\" data-end=\"3275\">Traina said the recovery process has taken longer due to the severity of the crash, which scattered remains across a wide area and necessitated DNA testing.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3277\" data-end=\"3427\">\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of pressure for that process to finish as soon as possible.
